Tobu Railway Type 20400 Berry Happy Train began operating a train with strawberry decorations such as “Strawberry Chan” and “Strawberry Monster” from Minamiguribashi to Tobu Utsunomiya, Tobu Nikko, and Shin-Fujiwara in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Tochigi Prefecture on June 15, 2023. Also, since June 10, the nickname of the Tobu Utsunomiya Line has been changed to “Strawberry Kingdom” line for one year only, and the station name signboard between Tochigi and Tobu Utsunomiya on the Tobu Utsunomiya Line has been changed to “Strawberry Kingdom” specification, and the line is livened up.
