  LIONEL FLYING YANKEE SET. This is a Lionel Flying Yankee 4 car set. Made 1935 to 1941. Each car has been cleaned and repainted. New window material added. Motor, E-unit and axles have been. Motor commutator & E-unit drum. Have been burnished clean. The ball joint connector piece. On top of the motor has been. Replaced with a home made piece. It locks into place with a set screw. On top of engine car. 2 of the vestibule units are chrome plated. The third vestibule is burnished steel. Set runs and reverses well. IF NOT AS ADVERTISED! If return is desired. Large Flat rate box.   This is a SUPER vintage Lionel prewar train set- the FLYING YANKEE Articulated Passenger Set. This is the four-car set #616 engine, two #617 Coaches and a #618 Observation Car. The set is ALL ORIGINAL and UNRESTORED. It is in good working condition and complete. It features the original whistle in good working condition. All the window inserts and railings are intact. The engine works fine in both directions. All the vestibule lights work. The gunmetal nose and tail have the expected scrapes and scratches and two of the car roofs are tarnished and one vestibule has chrome loss on one side- but NO rust or damage.
