Locomotive lights and engine work. Coal car engine works. This set is used and has been played with. Known defects and missing pieces. Locomotive roof piece is missing. 1 connecting rod (right side) is detached from wheels on locomotive. (Mounting bolts are missing to attach it). Engineer controls inside the locomotive are discolored. Red hitch on coal car is broken and does not join to the locomotive. But the coal car contains an engine and is therefore able to immediately follow the locomotive just the same. The coal car’s engine pulls the remaining cars hitched behind. Coal car’s lights do not light up. 1 coupler is missing (on cattle car) 1 sliding door is missing (on cattle car) Shovel is marred on the handle and the shovel end. 1 man figure is replaced. The replaced figure shows slight discoloration between the blue torso and blue legs. Original man had brown torso. 1 tool is missing. Missing original box and instructions.
