Lionel Vintage Postwar Train Set of Five Different Freight Cars and Caboose
They include the red bulkhead flatbed 6467, white boxcar 6014, grey pipe carrier flatbed 6121, blue gondola with four white canisters 6112, grey hopper 6476 and maroon caboose 6017. These were part of my childhood train set that I would set up for the holidays in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. These Lionel Cars are made of plastic with metal wheels except for the grey pipe carrier flatbed which is all metal. The wheels have some light surface rust and spin easily. There are some scratches and tarnish consistent with their age and they have been in storage for over sixty years. One of the grey pipes has a crack. I will include the four boxes which are labeled No. 6017-60 Caboose, Flatcar with Military Units 6804, 6806 and 6808 as well as the large packing box labeled LIONEL TRAINS and 1591 on the side.
