  This circa 1940 issue Marx 10005 lithographed tin articulated streamline passenger set is in very good original condition with the original box but missing its cover. Although the motor is not running I believe the repair or replacement is probably easy compared to finding the tin in this condition. Perhaps in this attractive condition to even none collectors it is more likely to be displayed mostly as opposed to frequently run.   LGB LEHMANN GROSS BAHN THE BIG TRAIN. LGB 20301 G gauge PASSENGER TRAIN SET. The stainz locomotive runs Well in forward and reverse and all lights work perfectly. The traction tire looks relatively unused as do the track contacts (see pictures) showing moderate use. The track is solid brass (indoor/outdoor use) and has twelve LGB 1100 curved track (4′ circle) which nestle together for storage. The two passenger cars have removable clerestory roofs that reveal the seats in the interior of the car. The doors open and close and have working door handles to lock them and open them. There are two gates on each end of the car platform that also open and close. Just say so in message part of your offer. The box is not original to the set but fits perfectly although it shows some wear. Come visit LGB heaven and see current and hundreds of future listings. LGB is big and relatively heavy.
