Offered, is a JEP O Gauge Electric Passenger Set with Box. Nice French O gauge JEP passenger set in good overall condition. Engine has been tested and runs smooth in both directions. Engine is a hand reverse style with the switch just ahead of the cab. Cast wheels are all in good condition with no chips or fatigue. Side rods are intact as are the buffers on the front beam. Headlight is working as well. Shell is in nice condition with both smoke defectors intact. Litho is nice with some light scratches and play wear present. Engine runs on any standard AC transformer. Litho is good across all pieces with only some light to average play wear present. None of the cars are dinged up or rusty. All couplers are intact and the cast wheels on the cars are all intact. Set also includes a tin litho sub station style transformer which has had the plug removed and connectors added. Several of the tabs on the litho transformer cover are missing, looking as though it has been opened before. Ten pieces of JEP branded banked curve track are included as are 3 tin signals, one of which is missing the base. Box is in fair to good condition. Bottom panel of the cover has been replaced with regular cardboard, and several areas have been taped. Bottom of the box has tape as well at all seams. Inner dividers are present. Box is quite a substantial piece, with a textured leather like finish. Weight is due in part to the transformer, track, and hefty set box.
