  This is A Marx Steam 400 Locomotive, Tender 2 Flat cars and caboose. The locomotive ran well and reversed and headlamp works. The whole set is very nice and quite exceptional.. Other than on the caboose smoke stack top off, i see nothing broke or worn. At one time i ran a load of Ertl military vehicles on the flats and it was great looking running around.   This is a vintage Marx, O scale, Atomic Light Generator flat car, from the Cape Canaveral Express Train Set. It has the “MARX”, mark on the underneath and a “1” in a circle. A very clean car, some very light small scratch marks, hard to see, the wheels are clean and appears to have never been on a track. A very minor surface rust spots on a couple of the wheels on the inside area. Nothing chipped or broken, nice example. I have not tested the light, the lens is very clean, and when I look through it, I can see a little gray corrosion on the area surrounding the bulb. I do not know the year it was made.   The train is in excellent shape. The set box is in fare shape, with repairs and missing most of the dividers. This 1950s era set is a very large deluxe set. Loco is die cast with a traction tire and puffs smoke, and has a headlight. Set comes with a 100 watt transformer and a oval of Marx wide radius curves. These will run on Lionel track also, but have the Marx tilt type coupler. These are 027 gauge. This is a vintage set. I do not have the plastic automobiles that go on the double deck car hauler. Ive seen them on line I do not have the truck that goes on the flatcar..
