Lego 610 Super Wheel Toy set (Train) Tall Box Version 1965 with Box Very Rare
As part of many more rare pieces that I will offer/have up for sale, the Lego set 610, tall box version, was released in 1965 by Samsonite. This is a VERY RARE set and can not be found for sale anywhere with the original era Lego bricks and box in this quality. This set is by Samsonite USA, released in 1965. This means that the bricks in this set are a mix of Cellulose Acetate (CA) and ABS plastic typical for the era. Cellulose acetate has the tendency to warp with time as you can notice in the picture on the 2×4 blue slopes on top of the train. (Otherwise, warping is rather limited for the other CA bricks). Some discoloration of the ABS bricks are noticed. The gray tires are in VERY good condition, which is also very rare, since have the tendency to dry-rot. There are extra bricks for this set (checked on Bricklink)(not shown in the pictures) to make other items as pictured on the box. A copy of the instructions is included, since the original instructions are no where for sale.
