If you build smaller 2-axle train cars, then you can get 8 of your train cars rolling. These wheels will work on Legos present-day plastic track and also on the older metal-rail 9v track, and also on the even older 4.5v/12v gray rails and the oldest blue rails. These wheels are backward compatible to all Lego tracks where there are 4 studs between the rail pieces – almost the entire history of Lego trains. All components are in very nice condition.
