Vintage Post War 1946 Lionel Train Set 1439ws + More- Very Nice Condition
VINTAGE POST WAR 1946 LIONEL TRAIN SET 1439WS + MORE. This is my childhood train set my dad bought me in 1946. DESCRIPTION OF ORIGINAL SET. 1439WS, circa 1947 in individual boxes containing; 2025 black 2-6-2 steam loco, 2466WX tender, 2465 silver Sunoco two dome tank, 3454 automatic merchandise car, 3559 red automatic dump car, 2257 caboose, 1019 remote control track set, type S 80-watt transformer, 61 straight sections of track, 41 curve sections of track, 2 bottle of smoke pellets, ½. Bag of 207 artificial coal, two 160 bins, five 6 Baby Ruth cubes, instruction sheets, operating booklet and service station pamphlet. The loco is the version with the aluminum smoke stack. All but caboose boxes are the original and the transformer box has original cardboard inserts. Several individual boxes have repair and have some replaced interior flaps. I just went over it and inspected cleaned and tested. All operating couplers and cars function. A new pellet smoke heater in engine. New cables on switches and controls as needed. New Light Bulbs in Controls and Lights. New whistle diode in transformer. All Boxes have original inserts. Caboose box is not Lionel. O27 Straight Track 44pc. O27 Curve Track 29pc. 3 Short straight Track. Marx O27 Straight 17pc. Marx O27 Curve 12pc. 2 Cargo Dump Trays. ½ full jars. Dimensions: 13 x 17 x 24.
