  This is an unboxed set – Lego 12V electric passenger train from 1981 PLUS an extra middle carriage. Motor unit with SNCF 7725 stickers applied plus a few more… Middle carriage with DB 7725 stickers. EXTRA middle carriage with DB 7725 stickers. Trailer unit with SNCF 7725 stickers on doors and DB sticker on front. Instruction manual, good condition (some writing/marking in blue felt-tip pen). All pieces are present and have been checked against the instructions. There is a full set of six period-correct couplers with pin here – this set did not come with couplers on the front and back ends. The set has been well used and some light grey pieces exhibit yellowing/discolouration. You may want to/be able to restore these pieces using chemicals, but I have not touched them – I’ll leave it to you. The electric motor is tested and working well. Original wheel rubbers are long gone but there is plenty of life in the power pickups. Note again there is no track, transformer, minifigs or accessories included in this lot. What you get is what you see in the first picture. At some point over the years I got the pieces together to build the extra carriage; you might be able to discern the slightly better-applied stickers on that one. Its a great train in very good shape for its 40+ years – while it’s not considered a cult classic like the 7740, the stubby design is very cute, very 80s LEGO and it looks fantastic in this (slightly) longer form. The items will be carefully wrapped in bubble wrap before boxing to protect them in transit. See my other auctions for more old LEGO train gear!
